Explore Sri Lanka

After relaxing in the hotel for a few days, why not explore the rest of the beautiful island of Sri Lanka. We offer a selection of popular tours, or a bespoke service to suit individual requirements.

Our tours are made with reliable and comfortable air-conditioned vehicles. All our drivers are experienced with good English, and in depth knowledge of the country and it`s many interesting sights and historic venues.

Whilst our tours are selected to suit most individuals, there is also room
for flexibility, if you prefer.

Half Day Tours

We offer short tours from the hotel which take around 4 hours. An early
start at around 8am takes you first to Koggala Lake. Take a catamaran and visit Temple Island – home to a Buddhist community of monks and then to Cinnamon Island where a local family will serve Cinnamon tea and show how it is produced. Back to the mainland by boat and see the many different species of bird-life on and around this peaceful lake.

A short drive takes you to a tea plantation. There you will be given a
guided tour of the plantation and factory and see how your morning cuppa is produced. On then to a turtle refuge. Turtle eggs are purchased from locals (which would otherwise be eaten) and buried in the sand. When the baby turtles are hatched they are kept for 5 days and then released into the sea. This you can do for a small fee.

This tour proves very popular and is a taster of what Sri Lanka has to offer.
