Special tours @ Villa in Paradise

If you have more time we can offer tailored tours which include both vehicle and driver/guide and overnight accommodation.

Typical tour takes you first to Udawalawe National Park for an elephant safari and then to Ella for the night. There you will have amazing views and see spectacular waterfalls.

In the morning you catch the train to Nanu Oya, a stretch of line that was made famous as the setting for 'Bridge on the River Kwai' which was filmed here in Ceylon. Of course, your driver will follow and meet you at your arrival point.

From there a visit to a Tea Factory, then on to Kandy for a 2 or 3 nights stay.

Among the things to do are a visit to Pinnewala Elephant Orphanage, Botanical Gardens, Temple of the Tooth and Kandy Dancing show.

Visits to both Dambulla Cave Temples and Sigiriya Rock Fortress can be taken from Kandy.

Tours are individually tailored to suit your schedule and pocket. Prices start at around $US 150 per day which includes both vehicle and driver plus half board accommodation. This is for 2 persons.
